When we started looking into sustainable farming and meat production, rabbits were at the top of our list. Aside from the excellent compost to feed our garden, rabbits offer a steady protein source. Once weaned, our rabbits move to pasture in familial groups where they forage daily for fresh clover and other grasses in a protected shelter. We raise New Zealand Rabbits for their good mothering abilities and fast maturity, resulting in a healthy and tender finished product for your table.
